Elena Pianta is an Italian comic book artist and illustrator. She works in the world of comics since 1996 for SERGIO BONELLI EDITORE, on various comic books, mostly science fiction: Legs Weaver, Gregory Hunter, Asteroide Argo, Agenzia Alfa and, in recent years, Nathan Never.

She has developed numerous collaborations in the field of graphics, advertising and editorial illustration, in Italy and abroad (eg PENERBITAN PELANGIBOOKS Malaysia; ELLEDICI, GIORGIO MONDADORI ED., Etc.).

Elena Pianta designed and represented the Bassa Padana by Don Camillo and the mayor Peppone in its comic version (published by Renoir Comics). She has worked for WALT DISNEY CO. ITALIA on the sci-fi magazine KYLION, on the print version of the cult series of the Disney channel HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (published in 25 countries in the world) and on the social stories of REAL LIFE.

Elena Pianta is a teacher at comics schools: the international school of Comics Turin and currently at the Comics School of Asti.
